Expansion of Cooperation Between SUSh and the Russian House in Gyumri

As part of the cooperation with the Russian House in Gyumri, State University of Shirak
hosted an open class dedicated to Russian Science Day. The class included biology and
chemistry laboratory experiments and tests, which were conducted in the laboratories of
SUSh’s Department of Biology and Chemistry.
The acting head of the department, Professor M. Aleksanyan, welcomed the participants and
wished for productive collaboration.
The participants—first-year students from Gyumri State Medical College—observed and
took part in various experimental processes, studying chemical reactions and the
interactions of biological substances.
The laboratory experiments were conducted by Associate Professor L. Melkonyan and
Assistant T. Panosyan from SUSh’s Department of Biology and Chemistry, with the
participation of students from both SUSh and the college.
