Event at Shirak State University Dedicated to the International Day of La Francophonie

Within the framework of the two-month series of events dedicated to the International Day of La Francophonie, a Francophone cultural university event was held at Shirak State University at the initiative of Gayane Galstyan, lecturer of French at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature.
At the event, second-year students majoring in “Service” presented French culture and music, as well as the stories and distinctive features of several French cities. In a cozy French-themed corner, a wine and dessert tasting was organized.

The second part of the event featured French chef Antoine Pleinof and French volunteers Morgan Degoussoi, Clémentine Janas, and Félix Bougon. Together with third-year students majoring in “Translation Studies (English–Armenian),” they prepared a traditional French apple pie, thus gaining the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the subtleties of French cuisine.
