Career Guidance Visits at Shirak State University

From April 11 to May 8, 2025, Shirak State University hosted approximately 700 students in grades 8–10 from 40 general education, secondary, and high schools and lyceums of Shirak Province and the city of Gyumri. The visits were organized within the framework of professional orientation and career guidance initiatives.

During the visits, prospective applicants were introduced to:

The academic and professional opportunities available to students pursuing higher education at the University;

  • The state-funded benefits provided to students enrolled in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, including a monthly scholarship of 70,000 AMD;
  • Opportunities for studying at European universities through international exchange programs;
  • The advantages of Work-Based Learning (WBL);
  • The intra-university and state-regulated tuition discount systems;
  • The activities of the faculties and departments, the academic programs offered, as well as the benefits of studying at the Military Department;
  • The University’s material and technical resources and infrastructure.
