Australian-Armenian genocide scholar and Armenologist Ara Ketipean was at SUSh
Today, Shirak State University Rector Yervand Serobyan hosted Australian-Armenian genocide scholar and Armenologist Ara Ketipean. The latter’s work is dedicated to the study of the Armenian Genocide and the Armenian question. For years, he has studied articles published in reputable American newspapers related to the Armenian Genocide, and has published the collected materials in volumes he authored.
During the meeting, Ara Ketipean donated more than two dozen books he has published to the university library and the Department of History and Law. Yervand Serobyan thanked Ara Ketipean for his invaluable work and patriotic work.
After the meeting with the rector, A. Ketipean spoke with the lecturers and students of the Department of History and Law. During the meeting, he presented his years of research. Those present highly appreciated Ketipean’s extensive work, emphasizing it as an important achievement in the field of genocide studies, and asked the author questions related to the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
