Alexandra Grigoryan, a Student of SUSh is the European Youth Champion

At the European Youth and Under-23 Weightlifting Championship held in Durres, Albania, Alexandra Grigoryan, a sophomore of “Physical Education and Sports Training” at State University of Shirak,became the European Youth Champion in the 58 kg weight category with a total of 214 kg.

In the snatch exercise, with three successful attempts, A. Grigoryan lifted 85 kg, 89 kg, and 91 kg and won a gold medal. In the clean and jerk exercise, she lifted 112 kg, 116 kg, and 123 kg and again took first place.

With a total of 214 kg, A. Grigoryan was declared the European Youth Champion.
