A meeting with employers was held at SUSh
In accordance with the “Procedure for Identifying and Supporting Students’ Needs” of State University of Shirak, a regular meeting was held with employers in whose institutions SUSh students had carried out their pedagogical, academic, and production internships in the previous semester.
The meeting was attended by SUSh Rector Ye. Serobyan; the Vice-Rector–Director of the Educational and Methodological Process Management Center A. Valesyan; Head of the Quality Assurance Department G. Avetisyan; Head of the Student Support and University–Market Cooperation Department V. Eloyan; the responsible for Student Support and Internship Organization In. Galstyan; as well as the heads of chairs.
At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Ye. Serobyan made an opening speech.
The main purpose of today’s meeting was to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of organizing and implementing internships and, in collaboration with employers, to develop effective solutions to the issues that arose.
Summing up the results of the internships for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, the recommendations of employers regarding the extension of internship periods, the application of successful work-based learning experience in other professions, and other issues were clarified.
At the end of the meeting, SUSh Rector Yervand Serobyan thanked the employers for the constructive discussion and important suggestions, emphasizing the university’s readiness to continuously improve the professional preparedness of students.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of active discussion.
